Africa City Excursions
Hallmark Adventure Travel offers city tours and excursions in
all the major cities of Eastern Africa including Nairobi, Mombasa
and Kisumu in Kenya, Entebbe and Kampala in Uganda, Arusha, Dar
es salaam, Bagamoyo and Stone Town in Zanzibar. These tours take
our clientele to some of the main attractions in the cities pointing
out landmarks, reliving the city's history, visiting museums,
art galleries, shopping markets and malls, unique scenery and
other places of interest. Other trips include pro poor tours that
pays visits to the slum areas, some of the aids' orphans' homes
around Kisumu City and widow's projects in the region of Lake
Victoria.
Kenya City Excursions
Excursion in Kenya Cities mainly cover tours
in Nairobi, Kisumu City and Mombasa and these are briefly described
below. Please note that these are just a few of the city tours
in our brochures and that depending on one's interest we can customize
these safaris to suit each individual group.
Nairobi City Tours
Tours in the City of Nairobi include an excursion
to all the important areas of the cosmopolis of Nairobi with the
three hour tour covering the National Museum, the Railway Museum,
the National archives, the City Market, the main shops in the
Central District, the Snake Park and Uhuru Park. Other tours are
the Bomas of Kenya tours for folk dancers and culture, the Ostrich
Farm and the Giraffe Manor, the Karen Blixen Museum and the Ngong
Hills, Nairobi National Park and the Animal Orphanage, Nairobi
Safari Walk for nature trails and game viewing, the Carnivore
Restaurant and the Tamarind Restaurant etc. Nairobi Slum Tours
that involves Charity and Philanthropy tours to the slums of Kibera,

Mombasa City Tours

Mombasa, also called the gateway to East Africa,
is rich in tourist attractions having a history of several hundred
years making it one of the oldest settlements on the East Coast
of Africa. Among the places that clients visit on the standard
city tour are the famous Fort Jesus, the Bamburi Nature Trail
(Haller's Park), Mamba Village (Crocodile Village), Likoni Ferry,
the Old Town with its narrow lanes and ancient houses, its maze
of narrow twisting alleys displaying the beautiful carved doors
and Arab verandas, bazaars with curio and antique shops, the Dhow
Harbor (still in use), a Hindu temple, a visit to the Akamba wood
carvers and a drive to the bazaar for a short shopping expedition,
the Nyali Bridge, the Market Place, the City Center with its shopping
outlets etc. Other trips include a romantic cruise on the Tamarind
Dhow, an Indian Ocean Dhow Cruise - sampling the sights that are
wonder at the Kenya coast, a Cultural Village visit, a full day

Kisumu City Safaris

This city is situated in Western Kenya on the
shores of Lake Victoria, Africa's largest inland sea. Among the
attractions include the nearby Impala Park, fishing in the lake,
visiting the Museum with its wealth in archeological findings,
Kisumu Airport, Lake Victoria Beach Resort, the Nyanza Golf Club,
the town hall, the pier (the ship docking bay), the Municipal
Market, Riat Hills and its beautiful scenery of the lakeside city,
a short excursion to the Kakamega Forest - one of the last of
